The Healthy Kicks Programme offers pupils an opportunity to get involved in physical activity as well as providing them with valuable information on how to eat and live more healthily. The structured sessions include practical activities to encourage engagement and culminate with a Q&A session.
The activities are centred upon the Department for Health’s ‘The Eat Well Plate’ and the benefits of physical activity. ‘The Eat Well Plate’ highlights the different types of food that make up our diet and indicates the portions we should eat to create a well-balanced and healthy diet.
