Barnsley FC Community Trust are pleased to announce we will be running various adult maths inspired workshops within our community. The sessions run with backing of Multiply, a new government funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills.
We will be running Football Plus a workshop around maths in the sporting world with and insightful look in to the transfer markets and player analysis Barnsley FC owes some of its recent successes too. And Parent Plus, workshops within primary schools, building parents confidence in helping their children with their learning.
If you are 19 and over and don’t have a maths GSCE at grade C (or equivalent), you can assess these bespoke workshops.
Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities, lead to higher wages or prepare you for further study. They can also help in everyday life!
