Reds in the Community are planning a Coast-to-Coast charity bike ride from Southport to Hornsea.

The event will take place between Thursday 16th July and Sunday 19th July.

The route will follow the Trans Pennine Trail, a 215-mile, exciting path for cyclists which links the Irish and North Seas, passing through some of the most historic towns and cities in the North of England.

As a registered charity, all funds raised will help to support health initiatives within the local community such as Fit Reds, Walking Football, Learn and Burn, Strolling Reds and Box-to-Box.

A meeting will be held on Thursday 16th January at 6pm in the Oakwell Indoor Centre to give further information.
