Barnsley FC trio visit local schools
Barnsley Football Club players Ethan Pinnock, Oli McBurnie and Jack Walton visited two local schools today.
Pinnock and Swansea City loanee McBurnie met pupils at West Meadows Primary School, answering questions about everything from football to Fortnite.
They also explained why they got into football, what it is like playing for the Reds and how they feel when they are out on the pitch.
Walton, fresh from making his first team debut on Tuesday night at Nottingham Forest, also took part in a Q&A session when he visited Greenacre School for children with special needs.
Having made a lasting impression from his visit to the same school in 2017, the 21-year-old happily answered the questions of intrigued students and staff members
Walton, alongside Reds in the Community staff, helped present a cheque from ASDA to the school for £500, which is to be spent on their outdoor and sporting facilities.
He also posed for pictures and signed autographs having survived a grilling from the children including topics such as cars, pranks and, of course, life at Oakwell.
