Do you want the chance to represent Barnsley Football Club / Reds in the Community on FIFA in the Yorkshire cup?
Representatives from Barnsley, Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield and Doncaster Rovers have been selected on the basis that they are participants of the Premier League Kicks programme, the flagship community programme which uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people.
Mark Cooper, Sport development officer at Club Doncaster Foundation, said: “This is a great opportunity to play against people from across different parts of Yorkshire and engage with kicks, even though sessions aren’t running as normal.
“We had an internal tournament for the participants of Doncaster Kicks a few weeks ago which was really well received, so getting other foundations on board makes it all the more exciting for the participants.
“We’re very much looking forward to getting the first one launched and it’s exciting to see what happens with it in the future.”
All participants will play each other once, with the top two players at the end of the league format progressing through to a final.
We ask that headsets are not used when playing on behalf of Reds in the Community.
