A year on from Barnsley’s historic victories at Wembley in 2016, Reds in the Community is seeking supporters’ memories of these momentous occasions.
Through its ‘Our Club, Our Ground, Our Past, Our Future’ project, Reds in the Community is seeking to tell the story of Barnsley Football Club through the memories of its supporters and community.
Our Club will put supporters at the heart of displays within the ground at Oakwell, and explore the club’s 130-year history through the eyes of the fans.
Reds in the Community is currently seeking Reds fans’ memories and pictures of ‘Wembley Twice’!  We want to hear your stories, and see your photos from these special days! Tell us about who you were with, how you got to Wembley, and maybe even what you ate; we want to know more about what made these moments unforgettable for you.
Supporters of all ages are encouraged to share their memories with us! Reds in the Community will feature some of the memories and pictures shared in displays at Oakwell. We hope that supporters and the wider community continue to share their memories and experiences of supporting Barnsley, through which fans continue to write the club’s history, into the future.
‘Our Club, Our Ground, Our Past, Our Future’ is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Creative Minds initiative.
