As a Christmas treat, we’re giving the next 10 sign-ups to our NCS Summer Waves 10 tickets each to watch Barnsley FC!

NCS is a Government funded and recognised programme, aimed at 15-17 year-olds, giving them the chance to take part in some great outdoor activities, learn some key life skills and make plenty of memories along the way.

All you have to do to be in with a chance is head to www.ncsefltrust.co.uk and sign up online before Friday, 22nd December! You can also get £15 off the price of the programme by using discount code NCSSUMMER18.

The first 10 to sign up will then receive tickets to watch the Reds in home league matches of their choice.

So how does NCS work? It’s broken down into four phases and runs like so:

Phase One: You’ll be spending five days (four nights) living away from home at an outdoor activity centre, taking on new challenges and adventures such as rock climbing, canoeing and abseiling.

It gives you a chance to meet new people and push yourself to the limit.

Phase Two: It’s your chance to discover something new! Another five days and four nights away, this time in a University environment where you’ll be given the chance to boost your confidence and develop your life skills, as well as your CV and UCAS application form.

You may be meeting important figures and organisations in the local community or even discovering new things about yourself.

Phase Three: Everything you’ve learnt in the first two phases come together. You’ll be developing your own community project to put into action and help make a difference.

Phase Four: Now it’s time to celebrate your work! You’ll meet up with all your mates at graduation and celebrate the great things you’ve done throughout your time with NCS!
