RITC and Barnsley FC Ladies create new enhanced Partnership.

,

We are delighted to have agreed a partnership with Barnsley Ladies for an advanced girls football programme.

The advanced programme will give the opportunity to Barnsley Ladies junior players who wish to go one step further and allow additional training, development and understanding of the game in a more professional environment.

Increasing this partnership allows us to enhance this pathway within Barnsley Ladies which includes extra pitch time, access to UEFA B coaching, lifestyle workshops, nutrition and gym sessions. For those who take up the opportunity they will also play a number of games throughout the season against EFL community clubs both home and away. Designated GK coaching means that Goal Keepers won’t be getting left behind either.

Reds in the Community Social Inclusion Officer Lynn Goodman added: ‘ I am extremely passionate about girls football and I think this partnership is a fantastic opportunity for girls within the Barnsley Ladies structure to develop their knowledge and skills which will enhance development throughout their footballing journey’

Barnsley FC Ladies Chairman Brett Hawke said:

As a club, we are delighted to have agreed a partnership with Reds in The Community for an advanced girls football programme. Our grassroots set up at Barnsley FC Ladies is based upon enjoyment and inclusion, and that will remain our priority, this is a fantastic opportunity for the girls to further their knowledge and playing ability.
