Reds in the Community are delighted to confirm that our award-winning Fit Reds programme will be running again at Outwood Academy Shafton!
The initiative, which will be delivered from 7:00pm-9:00pm every Thursday evening beginning on 2nd May, is designed for males over the age of 30 who want to make positive lifestyle changes.
Thanks to funding from the North East Area Council, Reds in the Community are able to provide the course to participants free of charge!
Fit Reds combines education about living a healthy lifestyle with football and fitness sessions, led by our FA qualified staff.
The eight-week programme is tailored to the needs of each individual participant throughout the informative workshops and physical activity.
Alongside the health benefits, Fit Reds has a huge social aspect with it providing a chance to meet like-minded individuals in a relaxed environment.
Once the programme has finished, there is also the opportunity to take part in weekly Fit Reds Vets sessions at Oakwell and social gatherings.
You can secure your place online by filling out the form below, or if you are interested in finding out more information, email [email protected]
Several other Fit Reds courses will be run across the borough of Barnsley throughout the rest of the year. Keep an eye on Reds in the Community’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages for more details about future programmes.
