We are delighted to announce that Barnsley FC Community Trust has been shortlisted for Charity of the Year at the Barnsley and Rotherham Business awards 2023 in association with RNN Group. 

The awards are organised by Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, and they aim to:  

• Reward excellence in the region
• Celebrate local successes
• Raise the profile of business in the region

The charity has seen major changes over the last twelve months with managerial and staffing changes throughout but hasn’t never wavered in its main priority of changing the lives of the Barnsley Community and delivering over One Million pounds of funded projects. 

As the charity arm of Barnsley Football Club this achievement is an incredible reflection on the unbelievable team that work throughout the Community Trust who show relentless dedication on a daily basis delivering programmes and sessions to the Barnsley Community in areas including, Sports Participation, Education, Health, and Inclusion to help change lives.
