Barnsley FC Community Trust offers Level 1, 2, 3 and Apprenticeship Sports Courses during the year covering a range of abilities for local young people aged 16 – 19.
Through an emphasis placed on partnership working, Barnsley FC Community Trust has established a number of targeted programmes that enables ‘hard to reach’ people and communities to fully participate in our work and society.
Barnsley FC Community Trustr is registered charity delivering community and charitable activities on behalf of Barnsley Football Club. We use the power of football and Barnsley Football Club to engage and improve the lives of local people.
Primarily activities operate on a ‘pay & play’ basis and provide opportunities for children and young people aged 2 -19 years to engage in grassroots sport with a focus on fun and being physically active.
Our Saturday Coaching Club is open to boys and girls of all abilities and gives them the opportunity to learn new football skills, improve their technique and most importantly, have loads of fun!Sessions cost just £6 and run between 10:30am – 12:30pm every Saturday at the Barnsley FC Academy Indoor Centre.Saturday Coaching Club Includes:Coaching from FA qualified and DBS checked

Healthy Minds is a low level mental health programme which is designed to support local women’s mental wellbeing and runs every Monday night at 7pm – 8:30pm at Oakwell in the Indoor Centre. In Partnership, with Creative Minds and South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Healthy Minds aims to enable women and girls aged 16+
