Reds in the Community donate kit to students
The Reds in the Community Education team have donated a kit to a new football team formed by a student and his boxing club. Jack Cadman, who completed his FA Level 1 through the Young Volunteer Project in January, has played a major part in the formation of the Sunday league side with Bolton on Dearne Youth Carnegie.
As well as Jack helping to set up the club he has also recruited 8 team members from his course at Oakwell. Jack said “We’re really grateful to Reds in the Community for donating the kit. It’s been hard work getting everything in place for AFC B.O.D.Y but this has really helped as kits are quite costly. I hope the team can be successful but the main thing is getting people together to play football and enjoy it. B.O.D.Y Carnegie and my course at Oakwell have really helped me understand the benefits of keeping fit whilst enjoying yourself”.
