We were thrilled to welcome Barnsley FC’s Rogan Ravenhill to Holy Rood Catholic Primary School, where he joined our Year 4 and Year 6 students for an energetic and inspiring PE session.
Rogan wasted no time getting involved, diving straight into games of tennis and handball with the pupils. His enthusiasm and encouragement brought a fantastic energy to the lessons, and it was clear the children were delighted to have a professional footballer in their midst.
The experience gave them a unique opportunity to engage with sport in a fun and memorable way.
Macauley Hobson, Barnsley FC’s Schools Officer, shared his thoughts on the visit:
