Barnsley FC Community Trust is delighted to announce its continued support for the Rucksack Project; a vital initiative aimed at helping keep the homeless warm during the winter months.
A donation drive will be held in the Ozone on Saturday, 13th December, coinciding with Barnsley FC’s home fixture against Leyton Orient. Fans attending the match are encouraged to bring along essential items such as warm clothing, sleeping bags, toiletries, and non-perishable food, which can be dropped off at designated collection points at Oakwell Stadium.
“We’re thrilled to be supporting the Rucksack Project once again,” said Barnsley FC Community Trust CEO, Kieron Campbell. “This initiative makes a real difference in our community, and we’re determined to help those most in need stay warm and safe this winter.”
For supporters unable to attend the match, donations can also be dropped off at the Barnsley FC Community Trust building in the weeks leading up to the game.
The Trust invites all fans and members of the local community to get involved and show their support for this important cause.
