Ethan Pinnock Unveiled as Sports Participation Ambassador!
Reds in the Community are thrilled to unveil Ethan Pinnock as our Sports Participation ambassador for 2018!
The defender, who has netted twice for the Reds this season, steps into the role after visiting our New Year Soccer Camps earlier this year.
He will be helping to support our Soccer Camps throughout 2018 under the Sports Participation umbrella, including acting as a face for our Friday and Saturday Coaching Clubs and Premier League Kicks sessions.
Ethan has also been active in school visits this year, including visiting Joseph Locke Primary School, answering questions around the lives and lifestyles of being a professional footballer.
Speaking after being named ambassador, Pinnock said: “I’m really happy to have become Sports Participation ambassador for Reds in the Community and to help support the work they do.
“I really enjoyed visiting the Soccer Camps in January and meeting all the kids who attended because it made me realise how such a small gesture such as paying them a visit can make their day.
“Giving some time back to help support the work that RITC do is great and to step into this role is a really good start.”
Sports Development Officer, Kieron Campbell, is delighted to have Ethan on board as an ambassador and is proud to have him supporting the work of Reds in the Community.
“On his previous player visits, Ethan has proved an incredibly popular character with the youngsters and to have his backing for our work is huge.
“Our Premier League Kicks sessions and our Soccer Camps just some of the incredibly popular programmes we run that Ethan will help to be a part of.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with him and having his support on our projects.”
