Burrows Toyota of Barnsley have generously donated a fully electric van for use over the entire summer holidays.

The Summer Sport Van initiative is aimed at enabling children and young people across Barnsley to stay active and connected during the summer break. Thanks to What’s your Move Barnsley and local area councils the Van will travel to local parks and green spaces to provide multi-sport activities for free over the entire six weeks. Participants can experience different sports including, football, cricket, rounders, badminton, spike ball and many more.

The donation of the fully electric van from Burrows means our qualified and experienced coaches can deliver these fantastic sessions to a combination of popular local spaces which are frequented by families and young people all while being kind to the environment.

For the second year running, they have provided us with a valuable van that will empower us to bring multi-sport activities to hundreds of young people throughout Barnsley as part of our Summer Sports Van.
