Reds in the Community have teamed up with Starstruck School of Theatre Dance to deliver an all-new Saturday Dance Club.
Following the success of the recent Summer Holiday Camps, the new session will be run year-round at the Oakwell Indoor Centre.
Beginning on Saturday 12th October, the weekly session will give boys and girls aged 5-14 the opportunity to develop their Cheerleading and Street Dance skills alongside other disciplines.
The Dance Club will run every Saturday morning from 9am-10am and costs just £3 per session.
And throughout October, anyone that brings a friend along to the session will also walk away with a free Barnsley FC ticket voucher!
Starstruck Founder Amy Schofield, who has delivered the Cheerleading and Street Dance sessions throughout Summer 2020, said: “Following the Summer, we’ve had really good interest. It’ll be a combination of Cheerleading and Street Dance where they’ll learn different routines, partner work. That will also lead to the opportunity to perform on the pitch again.
“People have been coming and they’ve made friends. Their confidence has grown loads. You don’t have to be qualified or anything like that, it’s just for fun. Boys and girls, everyone’s welcome to come and have a little bit of fun.”
