Show Your Colours for Football Shirt Friday and Help Us Fight Bowel Cancer
With Bowel Cancer Month taking place this April, Reds in the Community will be supporting Football Shirt Friday on 26th April with the aim to help fund research into bowel cancer.
Bowel cancer is the 4th most common cancer in the UK. When it’s detected at the earliest stage, more than 9 in 10 people will survive for 5 years or more!
For the 7th year running, people will be asked to donate £5 to the Bobby Moore Fund whilst sporting their favourite football shirt for the day.
This could be at work, school or anywhere in the community. The inspiration for this campaign originated from images of Bobby Moore taken at the 1970 World Cup, showing him swapping shirts with footballing legend Pelé.
Joining us in this campaign are many famous faces from the sport and entertainment industry, including Sky Sports News’ Jeff Stelling and former-England goalkeeper David Seaman.
There are THREE ways you can donate.
