Congratulations and well done to the group of Reds supporters who completed our Yorkshire Three Peaks Charity Challenge on Saturday! The team took on the 24.5 mile challenge to raise money for the Barnsley FC Community Trust.
The Barnsley FC Community Trust is a registered charity and the aim is simple – to help improve the quality of life for people in our local community. The Trust uses the power of football and Barnsley Football Club to engage and improve the lives of local people through a range of programmes and initiatives. The money raised through the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge will help us fund the range of programmes such as our Fit Reds health initiative, disability sports groups, 16-18 education programmes and various other projects which are vital in supporting our local community.
