In memory of Colin Heathcote June 1929 – June 2022

We have recently received a generous donation from the family of a life long Barnsley FC Fan, Colin Heathcote. An avid football fan, Colin lived most of his life in the Wombwell area and was also a big Cricket Fan.

Colin’s son-in-law Malcolm said ‘It was his wish that any money collected at his funeral would go to sports within the community‘ We are delighted to accept this donation and thank Colin and his family greatly. It will go towards equipment within our Indoor centre.

Lastly, we would like to send our deepest condolences to Colin’s Family at this difficult time, from all the Staff and Volunteers at Reds in the Community.
