Barnsley Football duo Mike Bähre and Samuel Radlinger visited Reds in the Community’s Soccer and Street Dance Camps this afternoon.
In what was the first visit of the 2019/20 campaign, Mike and Samuel met some of the youngsters who have been taking part in the Holiday Camps throughout the Summer.
After introducing themselves to the 65+ children, the Reds pairing took part in a question and answer session.
Having provided an insight into the life of young footballers growing up in Germany and Austria respectively, Mike and Samuel then signed autographs and Barnsley FC merchandise.
Samuel, who moved to Oakwell in the Summer from Hannover 96, enjoyed his first player visit in Barnsley colours alongside long-time friend Mike.
He said: “I enjoyed it a lot. I think it was a nice question and answer session. They are nice kids. They asked really good questions so it was fun for us as well. It’s always nice to do things like this. It’s the first time for me here, when the kids have a smile on their face it’s a good feeling. I also have two kids and I have a different look to these things. It makes me happy as well when they are happy. In Mike, I had a good partner because I’ve known him for such a long time.”
On Tuesday, the full Barnsley FC squad will be taking part in a signing session at Reds in the Community Soccer and Cheerleading Camps!
