Reds in the Community is a registered charity that uses the power of football and Barnsley Football Club to engage and improve the lives of local people through a range of activities and projects within four key themes – Education, Health, Sports Participation and Social Inclusion.
We are seeking to employ a dynamic individual with the necessary enthusiasm and commitment to increase participation in grassroots sport. Reporting to the Sports Development Officer you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and monitoring of engaging sporting activities across Barnsley and surrounding areas.
You should have a minimum FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate and two years relevant work based experience. In addition you should be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others, working as part of a team or independently.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and validation of references.
